Montana State University

A lot has happened since last time I blogged...

We had a meeting with a broker in Billings to select more products for the Fall.  The main focus was on concessions and getting ready for that.  There was 4 pages of things to try including cinamon rolls, breads, garlic fries, chicken strips, and mini doughnuts.

After the meeting we drove over the Bear Tooth Pass and into Yellowstone Park.  It was beautiful and I was able to see 2 bear, a moose, and a buffalo!

That Thursday we went to Billings again to meet with FSA to deal with updates and make arrangements for the Fall semester.

Then it was 4th of July weekend.  We went to Livingston a town about 45 min. away with a lady that we work with who grew up there.  There was a parade during the day and a rodeo that night.  I loved the rodeo, so much fun!

This past week was more relaxed compared to the week before.  Most of our time was spent in the office entering data, doing e-mails, etc. I got to learn Filemaker whish was cool.  There was a few small things going on though...

-Tuesday we had a meeting at the Fair-Grounds and it was Paul's birthday so we all went out to dinner with his family after work.

-Thursday we went to Butte at the end of the day and went to a really cool little Italian Market where I got some good stuff.  Sweet Potato Pecan Butter, Tomato Salad Dressing, Chili Caramel Ice Cream Topping, and Huckelberry Jam (very Montana)

-Friday we had a tasting with catering where we got to taste some of the new recipes they might be using in the Sky Suites for football concessions.  After work a bunch of us all went to Chico so that they could celebrate the conference they had planned earlier in the year.  Us interns were lucky to tag along.  We had dinner and then swam in the natural hotsprings.

-Saturday we went horseback riding!
