Ventures in Virginia

Hello from Richmond, Virginia!!!! This is Darcy, the intern at the University of Richmond and I can't wait to experience an awesome summer here cooking eggs, testing espresso machines, helping with the Special Olympics, and mastering the salad bar! I also look forward to reading about everyone else's internship and what they're learning. (Hopefully I'll get my camera figured out soon to post some cool pictures too...)

University of Richmond is a culturally diverse campus, offering a wide variety of dining services to meet everyone's needs. Although it's a small private college, the dining hall has an impressive spread that includes everything from a panini station to a Mongolian grill. Outside of the dining hall, there are 8 other dining options, varying from Freshen's, a smoothie counter, to Tyler's, a quick hamburger stop. If students want table service and more of a dine-in experience, they can go to The Cellar, a small student staffed campus restaurant.

Well, there are a couple teasers to give you an idea of UR! I'll post more later, including pictures!
